Dr. Ritch is Professor and Division Chair of Urology at Cleveland Clinic Florida and a fellowship-trained Urologic Oncologist. His clinical interests include the treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancer. He is a nationally recognized expert and researcher in prostate and bladder cancer and has served as PI and co-investigator on multiple industry-sponsored and cooperative group clinical trials. He is also a member of the 2016 American Urological Association (AUA) Guideline Panel for the management of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and the 2025 American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) bladder cancer guidelines. He has an active role in the Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) as the representative to the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC). He serves on the editorial board for Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations, and Urology Case Reports and is the editor for The Journal of Urology Editorial Surveys: Urologic Oncology section. He is active in international outreach and is a board member for International Volunteers in Urology (IVUmed). Prior to his current role he was a Professor of Urology at University of Miami, Miller school of medicine and Program Director for the SUO Fellowship at the University of Miami. Dr. Ritch did his undergraduate studies at Duke University and then matriculated at the University of Chicago, where he obtained a joint degree in medicine (MD) and business (MBA) from the Pritzker School of Medicine and Booth School of Business. He then completed his residency in Urology at Columbia University Medical Center/NY Presbyterian Hospital followed by a two-year fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
