Dr Giancarlo Marra is a Urological surgeon working in Hopital Tenon in Paris, France. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Prostate Cancer at the University of Turin, Turin, Italy and is a Research Associate at Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Paris, France.
During the last years Dr Marra trained in different countries including King’s College Hospital and Guy’s Hospital, London, UK, Molinette Hospital, Turin, Italy and Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Paris, France.
His main expertise are in the field of Uro-oncology, with a dedicated focus on Prostate Cancer, including focal therapy using IRE, HIFU or cryotherapy and Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.
He has published more than 70 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and more than 150 congress abstracts . Dr Marra is an active reviewer for the major urological journals and has been a presenter and an invited speaker at several national and international congresses, including Europe, China and the US.
