Dr. Valentina Grajales is currently serving as a Urologic Oncology Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She completed her urologic surgery residency and internship in general surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Valentina Grajales earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. She completed her Master’s in Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with Honors. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
with a minor in Art History, Cum Laude, from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Valentina Grajales received the AUA Urology Care Foundation Resident Research Award in 2020. She has also held various leadership positions and served on several committees, including the MD Anderson GME Diversity & Disparities Subcommittee and the SWIU DEI Task Force. Dr. Valentina Grajales is dedicated to advancing the field through ongoing research and collaboration with other leading experts. Her passion for urologic oncology is driven by a desire to improve the lives of her patients.
