Gabriela Gonzalez, MD, MPH (she/her) is a third-year urology resident at the University of California, Davis, who has dedicated her career to improving the mentorship of underrepresented students in medicine and has been widely recognized for her contributions to improving the health of the Latinx community since her time as at a medical student at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Under the guidance of Jennifer Anger, MD, MPH, Dr. Gonzalez completed a year of health services research while obtaining her public health training during medical school. She continues conducting research on reconstructive urology, access to care for underserved populations, and mentorship. She is a member of the inaugural AUA diversity and inclusion committee.
