Kana Hayashi is a master's student at the Graduate School of Health Sciences, Kobe University. She qualified as a clinical laboratory technician as an undergraduate student. She is currently conducting research for the development of a novel foreign body low adherent ureteral stent. Stents are implanted in pigs, which are large animals, to verify their usefulness and safety.
