Dr. Bruce Gao is a final-year resident at the University of Toronto. His journey into the field of urology began with a deep-rooted passion for medicine and a desire to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.
Bruce graduated from the University of Calgary Medical School. He has a particular interest in endourology and has been involved in numerous research projects focused on stones, minimally invasive surgery and BPH.
Bruce is actively involved in medical education. He serves as a mentor and supervisor to junior residents and medical students, guiding them in their clinical rotations and helping them develop the skills necessary to become compassionate physicians.
As he approaches the end of his residency, Bruce looks forward to pursuing a fellowship in Endourology at the University of California, Irvine with Dr. Ralph Clayman and Dr. Jaime Landman.
