Seth M Meade, BSE is a Research Biomedical Engineer at the Functional Electrical Stimulation Center in the Cleveland VA Medical Center, a medical student at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, and a master’s student in Biomedical Investigation with a focus on machine learning and clinical trial design at Case Western Reserve University. After receiving his bachelor’s in biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University with a focus in neural engineering, he continued his 4 years of research in spinal cord injury (SCI) and neural engineering during undergrad as a full-time neural engineer with the Cleveland FES Center inside the Cleveland VA Medical Center. He has continued his work with the Cleveland VA Medical Center while now in his 3rd year attending the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. A lead data analyst and study coordinator for this presented clinical trial, he is passionate in his efforts to thoughtfully translate technology created with patients, for patients, and especially for individuals with SCI.
