Currently writing a doctoral thesis based on the Norwegian randomized study on antibiotic prophylaxis in transperineal prostate biopsies, a RCT where the primary endpoint was to assess the difference in sepsis rate in patients randomized to receive antibiotic prophylaxis or not.

My top area of expertice is the diagnosis of prostate cancer using a transperineal MRI/TRUS fusion technique in an outpatient setting and treatment of prostate cancer.
