Urology resident
National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubiran
My name is Cristian Axel Hernández-Gaytán, I'm a third year urology resident at National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubiran, in Mexico City. I'm interested in endourology/minival invasion surgery and uro-oncology. I already have USMLE step 1 and step 2 CK passing scores and in the future my goal is to achieve a urology fellowship program in the USA or Canada.
I already had some clinical rotations in Urology in the USA and Canada. My first experience was in 2018 in a one month urology rotation at the University of Minnesota with Dr. Christopher Weight when I was a med-student. Recently I performed an observership in endourology in october 2022 with Dr. Denstedt and Dr. Razvi in London, Canada.
I'm so excited this will be my first presentation at the AUA!
