Dr. Scott Delacroix is a board-certified urologic oncologist at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Metairie. He specializes in the care of patients with cancers of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, including prostate, bladder, kidney, upper tract, testicular, and penile cancers. His clinical and research focus is primarliy on patients with all stages of prostate and bladder cancer. He serves as the medical director of Urologic Oncology at Mary Bird Perkins. Following his medical school and residency training in Louisiana, Dr. Delacroix completed a Society of Urologic Oncology-accredited fellowship (FSUO) at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He then returned to Louisiana, dedicating 15 years to advancing cancer care as Vice Chair, Professor with Tenure in the Department of Urology, and Director of Urologic Oncology at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He joined the Mary Bird Perkins Organizaiton in 2024. Dr. Delacroix is heavily involved in national committees on urologic oncology and is a leader in multiple clinical trials for patients with prostate and bladder cancer. He is the national PI for NRG GU015 (Archer) which focuses on Bladder preservation techniques for patients with muscle invasive bladder cancer, a member of the executive committe of SWOG, and serves on the ASCO Guidline committe for Metastatic Castrate Sensitve Prostate Cancer.
