Okyaz Eminaga is a physician-scientist working on medical AI and appointed as Research Instructor at Stanford University School of Medicine. He obtained his MD degree and PhD in medicine with major focus in medical informatics and pathology from Muenster University. He is holding the German board for Urology and receipient of mutliple prices and awards in prostate cancer and urothelial cancer research. He is an active member of the IEEE standard working group for AI medical device and elected members of Sigma Xi and GMDS (German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology). His current research focus is on medical AI and the development of the strategy of medical AI for uro-oncology. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers and conference abstracts in urology and medical informatics.
