Keck School Of Medicine
Timothy Chu is a fourth year medical student Keck School of Medicine at USC. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in 2018 graduating magna cum laude and earning departmental honors in Biology. Timothy's research interests encompass surgical simulation, training, and improving patient outcomes. He is affiliated with the Center for Robotic Simulation and Education (CRSE), headed by Dr. Andrew J. Hung. Timothy is actively involved in projects with USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering and Caltech, utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence to assess surgeon skill and improve surgical education. He has published in Nature Medicine, NPJ Digital Medicine, Current Urology Reports, and European Urology Open Science.
