I am Xu Chen, an associate chief physician from Department of Urology, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, Guangdong, P. R. China.
I am devoted in research on the mechanism, clinical translation and application of bladder cancer, with his main achievements as follows: Developed a novel non-invasive urine diagnosis technology based on the DNA methylation profile of bladder cancer (J Clin Invest, first author; invention patent; production), which increases the early diagnosis rate from 32% to 79%. This diagnostic method has been included in the Chinese guidelines of bladder cancer, and has been accepted as a Breakthrough Device Designation by the US FDA.
I has published 24 articles of SCI as (co-)corresponding/(co-)first author. He has won the first prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award as the third achiever.
