Rafael Tua-Caraccia, MD is currently in his 3rd year of Urology Residency at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. His research thus far has included post-operative clinical outcomes in reconstructive urologic and pediatric patients, management of urologic prosthetic devices, health outcomes specifically within Spina bifida patients, yoga as urologic treatment adjunct and pediatric bladder tumors. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA where he also began to teach yoga with Corepower Yoga. Prior to this, he lived in Providence, RI where he attended Brown University and recieved his BA in History of Art and Architecture.
