Greetings fellow urology enthusiasts, my name is Dr. Alex Battin, MD and I am a 1st year urology resident at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville Pennsylvania. I was born in raised in Morgantown, West Virginia where I studied through medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine. I had the opportunity to train for a year in the General Surgery program at UC Davis in Sacramento, California before beginning my Urology journey at my current program. My academic interests include urologic oncology and innovations in implantable devices. Outside of medicine, I enjoy hiking with my rescue dalmation, hitting the gym, and tinkering with my 3D printer. It is a honor and privelege to present my work at the AUA in Chicago this year and I look forward to meeting you.
