My name is Francisco Armillas-Canseco, I’m 28 years old. I was born and raised in a southeastern state of the Mexican Republic called Veracruz. When I became 18, I moved to another city in the central part of the country named Puebla, there I started medical school. Since 2016 I’ve lived in Mexico City, where I started working at Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubiran. In this hospital I developed my social service as a research fellow. In 2019 I began the Urology residency at this Institute. My future plan is to apply to a surgical uro-oncology fellowship in order to practice oncology in my native state, since there is a marked lack of human resources and a large volume of patients with oncologic diseases.
