My name is Polycronis Paul Akouris and I am an MSc student at Western University in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. I received a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc) degree from Western University in the Department of Biochemistry with an Honours Specialization in Biochemistry of Infection and Immunity. Our lab is located at the Canadian Centre for Human Microbiome and Probiotic Research within the Lawson Health Research Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in London, Ontario.
