Eric M. Ghiraldi, DO, Assistant Professor of Urology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. After completing residency (2015-2020) at Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, he completed a one year fellowship in combined Endourology/Stone Disease and Laparoscopic/Robotic Surgery at Yale School of Medicine. He joined Fox Chase Cancer Center in 2021 as part of an initiative of the urology department to expand and include specialized care in benign urologic conditions. He joined the faculty at Fox Chase Cancer Center as one of two fellowship trained Endourologists.
Dr. Ghiraldi specializes in the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to benign prostatic hyperplasia, as well as the medical and surgical management of kidney stones. For complex lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to BPH, he performs Thulium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (ThuLEP) and Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP). For complex kidney stone disease, he offers various percutaneous and endoscopic techniques, and is trained in obtaining percutaneous access for kidney stone treatment. He places a special emphasis on the medical management and metabolic work up for kidney stone prevention.
