Hofstra-Northwell
Jessica E Kreshover, MD, MS is a fellowship trained specialist in minimally invasive urologic surgery. She is an Associate Professor at the Hofstra-Northwell Medical School, the Chief of Urology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and the Associate Program Director for Northwell's Urology Residency Training Program. Dr Kreshover came to medicine after a short but successful career in engineering. She started undergraduate school at the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently transferred to the University of Virginia where she was awarded a scholarship for the outstanding woman in engineering. She then pursued graduate studies and completed a Masters of Science in Systems Engineering on a full scholarship before shifting her emphasis to medicine. Dr Kreshover earned her MD from the University of Virginia in 2007. She completed residency in urology at Boston University Medical Center and fellowship in laparoscopy and robotics at the Smith Institute for Urology.
