Graduated in Medicine from the ABC School of Medicine, Brazil (2003), with specialization (medical residency) in general surgery (Irmandade da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo) and urology (ABC School of Medicine). Completed a short-term fellowship in uro-oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto – Canada) in 2010 and, in 2011, was selected as a Scholar by the American Urological Association through the AUA/SBU Academic Exchange Program, undergoing an observership in minimally invasive surgery at Denver Health Medical Center. In 2011, obtained a master's degree in health sciences, with emphasis on uro-oncology, at the ABC School of Medicine (FMABC).
Between 2009 and 2016, served as a surgeon in the Kidney Transplant Program at the Social Responsibility Institute of the Albert Einstein Jewish Beneficent Society (HIAE), in Sao Paulo.
At the ABC School of Medicine, became an Affiliated Professor in the Department of Urology, responsible for this specialty during the medical internship (sixth year) until 2016. In 2015, established the Urology Service at Vila Santa Catarina Hospital, affiliated with HIAE, initiating both patient care and the supervision of residents in the institution’s Urology Residency Program, remaining as an assistant until 2017. Since then, have continued as a volunteer.
Since 2011, I have been a member of the Teaching and Training Committee of the Brazilian Society of Urology (SBU) and I am actually the chair of this department (2024-25 biennium). In the 2020-2021 biennium, I served as vice-president of the SBU São Paulo section, assuming the presidency of this section in the 2022-23 biennium.
