Daniel Spratt, MD, is the Vincent K. Smith Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and a Tenured Professor and Chair of Radiation Oncology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Spratt completed his medical training at Vanderbilt University and residency training in Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He then joined the faculty at the University of Michigan where he served as the co-Chair of the Genitourinary Clinical Research Team for the Rogel Cancer Center. Dr. Spratt joined the UH Seidman Cancer Center and the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2021 where he serves as the Chair for the Department of Radiation Oncology, the Medical Director for the Clinical Research Center, and is the Associate Chief Scientific Officer for the entire University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center health system.
Dr. Spratt serves as the Chair of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Prostate Cancer Guidelines, Chair of the Intact Prostate Cancer Subcommittee within NRG Oncology, member of the National Cancer Institute’s Genitourinary Steering Committee, and 1st Radiation Oncologist to be appointed to as a standing member to the FDA’s Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee. He runs an NIH funded translational research team focused on the development and validation of prognostic and predictive biomarkers, has published over 500 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and has served as the principal investigator on numerous national and international clinical trials.
