Eugene Shkolyar, MD is a fellow in urologic oncology at Stanford University, where he is involved in several innovative research projects. Dr. Shkolyar's current research interests are centered around the development and evaluation of urinary biomarkers for the detection of bladder cancer. His work in this area has included the identification of novel biomarkers that could improve the accuracy of bladder cancer detection, as well as the development of new methods for the quantification and analysis of these biomarkers. In addition to his work on biomarker development, Dr. Shkolyar is also involved in the development of AI for bladder tumor detection on cystoscopy. This involves the use of machine learning algorithms to analyze cystoscopy images to improve care of bladder cancer patients.
