Dr. Zachary Klaassen is an Associate Professor of Urology at the Medical College of Georgia and a Board Certified urologist. Dr. Klaassen completed his residency at MCG in 2016, followed by a Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship in 2018. Subsequently, he returned to MCG and has maintained a busy urologic oncology practice, treating patients with prostate, kidney, urothelial, testis and penile cancer. In addition to his busy clinical practice, Dr. Klaassen is the Urology residency Program Director, has published more than 250 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and maintains a research interest in the mental health of genitourinary oncology patients.
