Dr. Alex Tatem is a board-certified Urologist and fellowship-trained Men’s Health specialist practicing in Indianapolis, Indiana with Urology of Indiana — one of the largest urology groups in the country. He serves as Director of Urology of Indiana’s Men’s Health Center and as Corporate Director of Men’s Health for US Urology Partners.
Dr. Tatem completed his undergraduate training at the University of Georgia (magna cum laude, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology), earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia (Alpha Omega Alpha), and completed his urology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. He went on to pursue fellowship training in Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
His clinical expertise spans male sexual dysfunction, male fertility, and hormone optimization — with particular focus on performance health science, advanced testosterone replacement therapy, and peptide therapeutics. He leads one of the highest-volume penile implant and prosthetic urology programs in the nation and has published extensively in peer-reviewed literature on men’s sexual health.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Tatem has built a significant presence as a digital health educator through his YouTube channel (@dralextatem), where he delivers evidence-based content on men’s health to a growing audience of patients, athletes, and clinicians alike — translating complex science into content that actually gets watched.
