Joshua P. Langston, MD

Dr. Josh Langston is a urologist and the Chief Medical Officer at Urology of Virginia, a 55-provider group serving Southeast Virginia. He is fellowship trained in Andrology at University College Hospital London after residency at UNC-Chapel Hill, and leads Urology of Virginia's men's health program. Dr. Langston has a strong interest in health policy, advocacy and physician leadership in medicine. He was selected as the AUA’s 2017 Holtgrewe Legislative Fellow, spending time as a legislative advisor in the U.S. Senate. He is a member of the Public Policy Council, Legislative Affairs and Leadership & Business Committees for the AUA. He is also active on the Political Affairs and Health Policy Committees for the Large Urology Group Practice Association where he was awarded their 2019 Advocate of the Year award. Dr Langston is passionate about addressing workforce and access issues facing the field of Urology through the cultivation of the role of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the field and has lectured and written extensively on the topic.
