Dr. Nima Baradaran is an assistant professor of urology at The Ohio State Universtiy Wexner Medical Center in Columbus Ohio. He completed medical education at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. He then spent 3 years at Brady Urological Institution at Johns Hopkins University for a resaech fellowship on bladder exstrophy. He completed urologic residency at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 2017 and then pursued GURS fellowship in trauma and male reconstruction at University of California San Francisco in 2018 before joining Ohio State University. Dr. Baradaran has published over 70 peer reviewed articles and book chapters on various urologic topics including urologic reconstruction. His clinical expertise include all aspects of urogenital reconstruction, urethral reconstruction, transgender surgery, male incontinence and consequences of prostate cancer treatments. He also focuses on transgender care, genitourinary congenitalism in affiliation with Nationwide Children's Hospital and treats urologic implications of spinal cord injury in central Ohio.
