Reza Salajegheh MD is an interventional pain physician, currently practicing with OrthoVirginia. He developed his interest in male pelvic pain during his academic tenure, where he served as Faculty at University of Virginia Medical Center for 6 years. Dr. Salajegheh continues to treat male pelvic pain despite working within a musculoskeletal practice. As with all chronic pain syndromes, a multimodal/multidisciplinary approach is the foundation of his care. In addition to pharmacologic care, he offers interventional treatments that range from nerve blocks/ablations to implantation of spinal cord stimulators and dorsal root ganglion stimulators. It is his belief that male pelvic pain is an underserved area of medicine- due to stigma and a lack of awareness. Dr. Salajegheh feels privileged to be able to serve as a resource to these patients.
