Marc Goldstein, MD, DSc (hon), FACS, is the Hardy Distinguished Professor of Reproductive Medicine, and Urology, and Surgeon-in-Chief, Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine.
He has authored or co-authored over 300 journal articles, book chapters and books, including the chapters on surgery for male infertility in Campbell-Walsh Urology in every edition from 1992 to 2020. He co-edited Surgical and Medical Management of Male Infertility (Cambridge University Press, 2013) and the chapter on male reproductive system anatomy in the 2016 Gray’s Anatomy.
Dr. Goldstein is known for his pioneering work in male reproductive microsurgery. He received the John Lattimer Award for Outstanding Research, Teaching and Patient Care and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Fertility Association. He received the 2018 Distinguished Reproductive Urologist Award from the Society for the study of Male Reproduction and the 2017 Kavoussi Family Outstanding Teacher Award and the 2016 Distinguished Surgeon Award from the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. He is past-president of the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
He has completed 20 NYC Marathons, 25 triathlons and is the leader of the Cornell Urinary Track Team.
