Alana Desai, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Washington. She completed her residency and fellowship in Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Washington University. Following fellowship, she was a faculty member at Washington University in St. Louis from 2009-2023, specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of urolithiasis. Washington University in St. Louis is one of six institutions chosen by the National Institutes of Health to form the Urinary Stone Disease Research Network (USDRN). Dr. Desai served as the site co-PI for Washington University. She remains a member of the USDRN at the University of Washington site where she continues to treat urinary stone disease and other general urologic conditions.
