Scott G. Hubosky, MD is The Demetrius H. Bagley, Jr. MD Associate Professor of Urology, Director of Endourology and Vice Chair of Quality and Safety for the Department of Urology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated Cum Laude from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed urology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2005. After successful completion of a fellowship in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery under the auspices of the Endourological Society at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA, he came back to join the staff of the Department of Urology at Thomas Jefferson University in July of 2006.
His research interests include endoscopic management of upper tract urothelial carcinoma, nephrolithiasis, radiation safety and ureteroscopic instrumentation. He has published multiple manuscripts and book chapters on the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of upper tract urothelial carcinoma as well as the natural history and management of this disease in patients with Lynch Syndrome. Dr. Hubosky has also published manuscripts on safety issues involving flexible ureteroscopy.
