Bob Yang [FRCS (Urol) MBBS BSc (Hons)] is a Urology Surgeon based in the United Kingdom who specialises in incontinence, benign and paediatric urology with a passion for artificial intelligence, augmented reality and robotic technology to deliver excellence in patient care.
He has a strong academic background, graduating with first-class honours, five distinctions and three top academic awards and was ranked top five trainee in 2018 UK national selections.
He has delivered world-leading research on treatments in incontinence surgery and non-antibiotic prophylaxis for urinary tract infections and has won three national research prizes and presentation awards.
He has an established scientific standing with 23 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, British Journal of Urology International, Journal of Clinical Urology, British Journal of Anaesthesia and Anesthesiology and is the Lead Editor of the Springer-Nature book “Female urinary tract infections in clinical practice”.
He is the teaching lead organiser for the Wessex urology registrar programme and a recipient of an Oxford University teacher of the year award.
