I am Charles Nottingham, MD MS, and I am currently an assistant professor of surgery within the Division of Urology at Washington University in Saint Louis. I completed Endourology fellowship at Indiana University Methodist Hospital under the mentorship of Drs. Amy Krambeck, MD, and James Lingeman, MD. My area of focus is in advanced surgical and medical treatment of nephrolithiasis, BPH, and other advanced endoscopic techniques. I commonly perform holmium laser enucleation of the prostate, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and ureteroscopy. I have also been priviledged to work with Drs. James C. Williams, Jr., PhD, Marcelino E. Rivera, MD, and Tim Large, MD, during my fellowship. I completed urology residency at The University of Chicago (section chief Dr. Arieh L. Shalhav). I started practice at Washington University in St. Louis in July 2020 as an endourologist focusing on urinary calculous disease and enlarged prostate disease (primarily patients requiring HoLEP).
