Smita De, MD, PHD

Smita De, MD, PhD, is an associate staff urologist at the Cleveland Clinic. She earned her medical and graduate degrees at the University of Washington after which she completed her Urology residency at Stanford University. Dr. De was then invited to be the first fellow for the Vanderbilt Institute for Surgery and Engineering. She also completed a clinic fellowship in Endourology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her current practice focuses on stone disease and BPH. Her research interests are in medical device design and novel technologies, specifically in the area of Endourology.
