Douglas Strand, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He trained under David Rowley at Baylor College of Medicine and then Simon Hayward at Vanderbilt University. His work is focused on the cellular pathogenesis of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) using a variety of single cell analyses, using human specimens across the spectrum of disease states.
