R Charles Welliver Jr, MD is an Associate Professor of Urology and Director of Men’s Health in the Department of Urology at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He received a BS from the University of Rochester in Biomedical Engineering and graduated from Stony Brook School of Medicine. Prior to completing a fellowship in Andrology, he completed residency at Albany Medical College. His clinical and research interests focus on BPH, sexual dysfunction and men’s health.
He is a member of the ABU Exam Committee, AUA Public Media committee, Urology Cares Foundation, Sexual Medicine Society of North America Surgical Committee and is a senior consultant for the AUA Core Curriculum. He is the current Vice Chair for the Sexual Meidince Society of North America Medical Student and Resident Committee. He is a founding board member of the Society of Benign Prostate Disease and was elected to the AUA Leadership Program for the 2023-24 cycle.
