Associate Professor of Urology
Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School & Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey
I joined the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in August 2014 and am an associate professor of surgery in the Division of Urology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I received my undergraduate degree in Chemical Biology at the Stevens Institute of Technology (Hoboken, NJ) with high honors. I then completed my medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers)—New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. Excelling in both clinical and research endeavors, I completed my urologic surgical residency at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University (Providence, RI). Following graduation from urologic residency, I completed a two-year Endourology Society accredited fellowship at the Smith Institute for Urology (part of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in New Hyde Park, NY; now Northwell), under the guidance of Drs. Arthur Smith and Louis Kavoussi. I have a passion for robotic urologic surgery and medical education. My practice is focused on advanced robotic urologic oncology and robotic reconstruction. I have experience with multiport and Singleport robotic approaches and strive to provide minimally invasive solutions for my patients. I have conducted several firsts at RWJUH including various novel reconstructive and oncologic approaches utilizing both SP and MP systems. I also have a passion for empowering residents and young urologists through smart personal finance.
I am a member of the American Urologic Association, the Endourologic Society, and the Society of Urologic Oncology.
