Kevin Koo, MD, MPH, MPhil, is a Professor of Urology at Mayo Clinic. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of urinary stone disease. His research focuses on kidney stone pathophysiology, technology development, and surgical quality improvement. A former AUA Holtgrewe Legislative Fellow, Dr. Koo is Chair of the AUA Federal Advocacy Committee and a member of the AUA Public Policy Council and State Advocacy Committee. He previously served on the AUA Political Action Committee board of directors. He is also Chair of the AUA North Central Section Health Policy Council and Advocacy Chair of the American College of Surgeons Young Fellows Association. Dr. Koo is a graduate of Yale School of Medicine and completed residency at Dartmouth and fellowship at Johns Hopkins.
