Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
John P. Mulhall, MD MSc FECSM FACS FRCSI, is a native of Dublin, Ireland. He is the Director of the Male Sexual & Reproductive Medicine Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He holds an adjunct position as Professor of Urology in the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Mulhall has 350 papers published in peer-reviewed journals, and has published the books, Contemporary Management Of Urologic Emergencies (1999); Saving Your Sex Life: A Guide For Men With Prostate Cancer (2008); Sexual Function In The Prostate Cancer Patient (Editor-in-Chief, 2009; Cancer & Sexual Health (Editor-In-Chief, 2011); Fertility Preservation In The Male Cancer Patient, (Editor In Chief, 2012); Clinical Care Pathways In Andrology. (Co-Editor-In-Chief, 2013); Atlas Of Andrology Office Procedures (Editor-In-Chief, 2016); Male Sexual Dysfunction (Co-Editor-In-Chief, 2017). He has contributed in excess of 50 book chapters. He serves on the editorial board of The Journal of Urology. He is currently the Editor-In-Chief of The Journal of Sexual Medicine.
Dr. Mulhall serves on the Board of Directors of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA) and is a Past-President. He was previously the Chairperson of the Core Curriculum Committee of the AUA. He most recently chaired the Testosterone Deficiency Guideline panel for the AUA and sits on its Practice Guideline committee.
Dr. Mulhall is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Career Development Award from the United States VA (1998), the Robert P. Nelson Award from the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (2001), a Young Investigator Award from ISSM (2000) and the Jean Francois GinestiƩ Award (2002) from ISSM for basic science research. In 2005, he was honored by the American Urological Association with the prestigious Gold Cystoscope Award.
