Brian Eisner, MD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Urology at Tulane University Medical School. He earned his medical degree with research honors from the University of Michigan and completed his residency in urology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, followed by a fellowship in endourology and stone disease at the University of California, San Francisco. The focus of his clinical practice is endourology, stone disease, and stone prevention. His research interests include infection in patients with stone disease, risk factors for stone formation, epidemiology of stone disease, innovation in endourology, and surgical techniques in endourology.
