Dr. Daniel Elliott is a Professor of Urology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, MN in the section of Pelvic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Elliott received his Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University and did his residency in General Surgery and Urology at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. He did a fellowship in NeuroUrology, Urodynamics and Voiding Dysfunction at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Most recently, he achieved his subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
Most of Dr. Elliott’s academic work has focused on various aspects of male and female incontinence, the artificial urinary sphincter, and female pelvic organ prolapse with a focus on mesh complications. Additionally, he has done many regional and national presentations on incontinence and prolapse surgery. Dr. Elliott also has active memberships in multiple professional societies including International Continence Society, Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology, European Association of Urology, International Urogynecological Society, American Urological Association, and numerous others.
