Dr. Leslie M. Rickey is an Associate Professor of Urology and Obstetrics & Gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine and is Fellowship Director of the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Program. Dr. Rickey has subspecialty certification in FPMRS and her clinical practice is devoted to the care of women with problems related to the lower urinary tract and pelvic floor including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and overactive bladder. She is the Connecticut Representative on the American Urologic Association New England Section Board of Directors and a Past President of the Society of Women in Urology.
Dr. Rickey received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and went on to complete a Urology residency and an accredited fellowship in Urogynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Rickey is the PI on a 5 year grant from the National Institutes of Health that established Yale as a clinical center in a multi-center, multi-disciplinary research group, the Prevention of Lower Urinary tract Symptoms (PLUS) Research Consortium. She also has a busy clinical practice and incorporates a broad range of surgical and non-surgical therapies for incontinence and prolapse, including robotic and vaginal minimally invasive approaches.
