Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Richard Matulewicz, MD MSCI MS is an attending surgeon in the Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and holds an Assistant Professor academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed medical school at Tufts University with Alpha Omega Alpha honors which was followed by urology residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. After that, he completed a clinical fellowship in urologic oncology at MSKCC and a research fellowship at NYU in population health and clinical investigation.
In addition to his clinical practice which focuses on testicular cancer, he is a National Cancer Institute (K08, 2022-2027) and AUA (Research Scholar Award, 2021-2023) grant funded health services researcher and implementation scientist. His research program focuses on developing risk adapted evaluation strategies for patients with microscopic hematuria, studying strategies that promote evidence-based tobacco treatment for patients with urologic cancers, and promoting survivorship for men with testicular cancer through measurement of patient reported outcomes (PROMs).
