Course Description: Up-to-date knowledge of use of holmium laser and thulium fiber laser for treatment of stone disease (e.g., ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy), benign upper tract conditions (ureteral stricture, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, other) and upper tract urothelial cancer.

Learning Objectives:

Discuss the basic principles of laser treatment of stone disease during ureteroscopy.
Identify the basic principles of laser treatment of stone disease during percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
Identify the basic principles of laser treatment of benign upper tract conditions such as ureteral stricture, ureteropelvic junction obstruction and others.
Identify the basic principles of laser treatment of upper tract urothelial cancer.
