Kelly M. Tyler MD is an Associate Professor of Surgery and the Division Chief of Colorectal Surgery at UMASS-Baystate in Springfield, MA. She has extensive experience surrounding institutional financial stewardship and has served on both local/regional and national committees holding influence over the economics of healthcare. She has been a member of the ASCRS Healthcare Economics Committee since 2011 and has most recently filled the role of Chair of that Committee. Her 14 years of leadership in clinical practice have allowed her insight into the complexities and opportunities surrounding billing, coding, and the impact of state and federal legislation on the economics of Colorectal practice.
