Nancy Bollero, MS, RN, FNP-BC, CWON graduated with her BSN from Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, Illinois and earned her FNP from the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. She has worked at Carle Health in Urbana, Illinois for 38 years, first as an inpatient RN and then as an APRN in Digestive Health Institute/Colon and Rectal Surgery. Nancy is certified in wound and ostomy care, is a resource to the organization and leads the ostomy support group. She is currently lead instructor for the Ostomy Care Nurse (OCA) course held at Carle Health. Nancy has lectured locally and nationally on various topics including nursing assessment, wound and ostomy topics, parastomal skin complications, case studies in colon rectal surgery, among others.
