Leah Schwartz, MSc is a fourth-year student at Harvard Medical School. After graduating from Harvard College with a degree in History of Science, Leah pursued a masters in Medical Anthropology at University of Oxford. In medical school, she has served as a member of the Reproductive Justice Curriculum Task Force and a Site Director for Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program’s student clinic. Her current research utilizes qualitative and quantitative methods to examine toxicology testing practices during pregnancy. Leah has applied to Ob/Gyn residency and hopes to pursue a career in maternal-fetal medicine specializing in substance use disorders in pregnancy.
