Annie K. Ickes, DO is an Emergency Medicine trained Addiction Medicine Fellow at Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke, VA. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Virginia Tech Carilion, where she was actively involved in the Emergency Department Bridge to Treatment Program and creating an ED alcohol misuse SBIRT protocol. In fellowship, she has worked on a team to implement a regional grant funded opioid education and naloxone distribution program. She is thrilled to continue as Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine Faculty at Carilion next year.
