Psychiatry Resident
Indiana University School of Medicine - Vincennes Psychiatry Residency
Current third year resident at the Indiana University School of Medicine - Vincennes Psychiatry Residency. Originally born in raised in rural southeast Ohio. I have a passion for providing rural appalachian mental health care. I graduated from Shawnee State University, Portsmouth Ohio and completed medical school training at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens Ohio. I chose to take an extra year during medical school as an Osteopathic teaching fellow. I had the opportunity to teach Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) in the Primary Care Associate Program for first and second year medical students. I was also able to provide osteopathic treatments for state psychiatric hospital patients during this time. Now in residency in rural southwest Indiana I am involved in the reinvention of the consult-liaison service, a rural pride clinic, inpatient group therapy, psychiatric osteopathic manipulation, and hypnosis. In my free time, I enjoy needlepointing, sewing, renovations, restorations, listening to podcasts, watching youtube, reading/ watching science fiction and anime. I also have 4 puppies that keep me very busy, they rang from 4 years to 13 years old and 8 pounds to 90 pounds.
