Caitlin O’Brien is a medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine interested in Family and Addiction medicine. She earned B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame. Before attending medical school, Caitlin worked for Operation Safety Net, a street medicine organization in Pittsburgh, PA. Caitlin was awarded the Jeannette South-Paul Social Determinants of Health Enrichment Award for her community engagement in street-centered harm reduction. She is currently on the board of the interdisciplinary organization, Street Medicine at Pitt, and was selected for the University of Pittsburgh Social Medicine Fellowship Program for medical school students.
