Rachel Weger is a second-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned her B.S. in Neuroscience with a certificate in Community-Based Research from American University. She is interested in pursuing family medicine, and she is currently involved in research projects that focus on harm reduction, immigrant and refugee health, and health disparities. As a member of the Social Medicine Fellows Program in medical school, she has collaborated on various medical education and community-centered projects with local neighborhood organizations.
